Branches Outdoor School is excited to have kids arrive at camp in the coming weeks and make our way through our first season as a program provider!
We have a great team that just finished training and are ready to lead students around camp through an ecological adventure. They have had a great time learning how to operate our climbing tower and other activities around camp, have been studying up on our lessons, and presenting the new skills they have learned back to us at the end of this training period. We feel confident that they are ready for the next 5 weeks of programming and all the students that are soon to come.
Our first season will host over 650 students, 50 high school leaders, and 80 wonderful adults who are joining to chaperone their students. These students will participate in new activities such as Art in Nature, Being A Scientist, Fire Ecology, and will have the chance to utilize our newly set climbing tower and our archery range.
All the lessons we teach require materials, and we appreciate everyone who was able to contribute to that supply through a donation, and would like to say thank you once again.
