ROBIN EISENBACH

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

We welcomed Robin as our new Executive Director in January 2025. With over 18 years of youth development experience and 16 years of nonprofit leadership, Robin’s passion for fostering growth, connection, and equity perfectly aligns with our mission.

Robin’s expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion, and experiential outdoor learning ensures an inspiring future for our camp community.

STEVEN JOINSON

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

Steven (or “Sound”) joined the Camp Lutherwood Oregon team in May 2025. Originally from Cheshire, England, Steven began his camp journey in 2001, working for Camp Na-Sho-Pa in upstate New York as an international Camp Counselor. Steven moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2004, and has been working with youth ever since.

Steven worked as a SUN School Director in the David Douglas School District, as well as Camp Director for Camp Namanu. You may have heard his voice on All Classical Radio and ICAN Radio in the past few years, too, where he hosted various radio shows and worked with youth to create radio programming, including working with Julie Andrews.

JOSIAH HUBBARD

GUEST SERVICES MANAGER

Josiah has a passion for making people feel welcome and invited. He has the privilege of exercising this skill with our guests coming to Camp Lutherwood for retreats and camps. He loves sharing this lovely place with our visitors and makes extra effort to create an environment of hospitality and peace. Josiah enjoys engaging with our guests and sharing stories from his life and listening to stories that our visitors bring. But most of all, he loves being a part of all the stories that people will take from their time at Camp Lutherwood.

DAISY ABUNDEZ

FINANCE MANAGER

Daisy joined the Lutherwood team in December 2021. Her responsibilities include all things finance and HR. She is gaining more experience everyday and enjoys taking her dog, Tito (nicknamed Toast) for walks at camp.

TOM BREWER

SITE MANAGER

Tom joined the Lutherwood team in 2017. Tom manages everything about the site and facilities. He works closely with the weekly volunteers and other groups that come for workdays to help with projects. He is an experienced cabinet maker, woodworker, and he loves his sawmill at Lutherwood.

ELLIOTT PUST

FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR

Elliott joined the Lutherwood team for the summers of 2022 and 2023 as the Assistant Chef. In February of 2024, she moved to the year-round Food Service Director position. Elliott continues to improve all things food, meals, and food service at Lutherwood. She loves making very delicious food for others.

HEIDI KNEBEL

OFFICE MANAGER

Heidi joined the team in December 2024 but first came to camp as a camper in the summer of 2011. Heidi records the donations, helps with the publications and communications, and is the registrar during the summer.
