PREPARING FOR CAMP & FAQS

We’re excited to have your camper come to Camp Lutherwood Oregon and we want you to feel well-prepared. Frequently-asked questions are answered below, and there are some helpful links available as well. If you have any additional questions, please contact our office at 541-998-6444 or office@lutherwoodoregon.org.

REGISTRATION

Visit our Registration Page to learn about our registration software called UltraCamp. From that page, you can access UltraCamp to create an account, or log back into an existing account, and register for all programs.

If you already have an UltraCamp account, click HERE for the login page.

Your “username” on UltraCamp is the email address connected to your account.

You can always reset your password and UltraCamp will send a link to your email that is connected to the account. This can help you determine which email you used.

If you have further problems logging in, please contact our office: 541-998-6444.

If you are having trouble logging on and need help remembering your password, here are some simple steps to help you unlock your account:

  1. On the UltraCamp login page, there is a place to indicate that you already have an account. Click “I need to rest my password,” and make sure to say which method you would like to receive the code: either by email or text. We recommend not using texting if you are not in an area that you have cell service.
  2. Through email or text, you will receive a link that you can use to unlock your password.
  3. Enter your email address and the “Authorization Code” will auto populate from the email you received. If it does not auto populate, the code will be listed in the reset email below the link.
  4. Enter a NEW password that will be easy for you to remember, and write it down somewhere safe.
  5. Confirm the new password, and click “submit”

If you have further problems logging in, please contact our office: 541-998-6444.

All campers, both adult and youth, need to complete:

  • Health Form
  • Photo Release Form
  • Acknowledgment of Risk Form

For special programs, like High School Summit, there will be additional waivers.

All these forms are available in your account through our registration system. If you have any trouble filling these out, please contact our office.

PAYMENTS AND PRICING

Camp Lutherwood Oregon believes all kids should have the opportunity to attend camp. We know camp families have differing abilities to pay, so we offer a voluntary three-tiered pricing program to better meet all financial needs. Since you know your family’s financial situation better than we do, you self-select the rate you can afford!

Reduced pricing doesn’t change the quality camp experience your child receives!

Having multiple payment options simply shows you the true cost of Camp Lutherwood Oregon programming and gives you the ability to decide how much you can pay toward camp. The level you choose is up to you. Consider selecting the highest price you can afford…it helps more kids come to camp!

  • Tier 1: Most accurately reflects the “true cost” of camp.
  • Tier 2: Slightly subsidized for families needing some support to make camp affordable.
  • Tier 3: Subsidized rate through fundraising, special events, and contributions from camp supporters. Choose this rate if you are applying for additional campership support from Camp Lutherwood Oregon or a 3rd party organization is covering your cost of camp.

Payment: You may pay in full with your registration, pay the minimum $100 deposit, or pay something in between. If you choose to not pay in full when you register, you may log back in anytime to make payments prior to the start of camp.

Payment Plan: We offer an optional automatic payment plan directly from your credit or debit card, either a one-time charge for your camp balance or monthly installments prior to the start of camp! In order to enroll in a payment plan, select “Other payment options” when checking out.

Second Week Discount: Receive $25 off when you register for a second camp in the same summer.

Third Week Discount: Receive $50 off when you register for a third week of camp in the same summer.

Sibling Discount: If you register more than one child from the same family and household, each child after the first receives a $25 discount. The discount will be applied automatically. Discount does not apply to Mini Camp, Confirmation leaders, Women’s Weekend, or Friends & Family Camp.

Churches and organizations that sponsor camper fees will receive a personalized code from our office. The church or organization will be responsible for designating the amount and to whom will receive the codes. We are not authorized to add the code for you, without direct permission from the church or organization.

When you register and use the code provided from the church or organization, the system will automatically deduct the pre-arranged amount from your invoice.

If you are unsure if the church will be paying but would still like to register, you may do so.

During the registration select “yes” on sponsoring organizations and fill out the third party payment details with the name, address, and amount.

If you have further problems logging in, please contact our office: 541-998-6444.

CAMP WEEK

Camp Lutherwood Oregon offers swimming, archery, arts & crafts, hiking, singing, a group initiative course, climbing tower, model rockets, morning chapel, evening campfire, visits to Hammock Village and more! The activities that your child will participate in will depend on their age and the program they register for.

Check-in for camp is open from 3 to 5 PM on Sunday. When you arrive, Lutherwood staff will guide you through our check-in process! Remember to bring all of the necessary forms.

Check-out for camp is at 6:30 PM on Thursday. Family and friends are invited to join us for a picnic dinner beginning at 5 PM followed by our closing campfire at 6 PM. (RSVPs are required for the picnic dinner.)

Every effort is made to provide a safe environment for campers. We follow the highest industry standards set out by the American Camp Association (ACA) as an ACA accredited camp.

Our nurse/medic is on site 24/7 to assist with any health care needs. We will not hesitate to call emergency medical personnel if warranted. We will make every effort to contact parents/guardians immediately if any serious injuries or illnesses occur. In cases of prolonged illness parents will be asked to take their child home.

Camp does allow parents/guardians to send emails to their camper. Specific instructions will be given to you during registration about how best to use this service. We highly encourage you to send letters and care packages by snail mail too! Please note that our mail delivery times vary each day, and we do our best to make sure campers receive anything that is sent. Emails and snail mail are usually delivered to the campers during dinner time each night.

Please send all packages and snail mail to: 22960 HWY 36 | Cheshire, OR 97419

Camp Lutherwood does not have cell service, but we do have full communication capabilities to stay in touch while on our site through wifi, including wifi calling, texting, and messaging.
