Women’s Retreat

Need some time for reflection and relaxation? Join us for a weekend amidst the fellowship of other women to explore and contemplate the beauty of creation. Take a weekend to simply be. Our camp staff and guest presenter, Rev. Lucille Antionette Mills will lead games, nature walks, Bible study, worship, and contemplative conversations. All meals are provided (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch). Individuals and groups welcome.

Guest Presenter:  Rev. Lucille Antionette Mills

Rev. Lucille “CeCee” Mills grew up in Greensboro, N.C.  She completed her seminary studies at The Lutheran Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She served her first ten years of ministry in the Virginia Synod. She currently serves as Associate Director for African Descent Ministries for the ELCA as deployed staff from its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois while also serving as interim at Family of Faith Lutheran Church in Concord, North Carolina.

Maximum cost of $350 per family group

Get ready for new adventures at Family Camp! Bring your family and friends to laugh, play, and grow together while spending quality time in the outdoors. Play in the pool, take a creekwalk, and explore simple, relevant faith practices that can be continued at home. Enjoy conversation and study time with other adults while children spend small group learning and game time with camp staff.

Forest Retreat (for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities)

July 5-7
$220, $195, $170

This retreat is specifically for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Retreat participants will experience two nights and three days of crafts, games, swimming, worship and other community-building activities at Camp Lutherwood. Our summer staff and Oregon Adventure in Service campers await opportunities to build friendships with the Forest Retreaters. Our on-site RN will ensure medical needs are safely addressed and caregivers for any retreaters are encouraged to attend at no additional cost. Caregivers please register here.
