More than 400 Eugene-area students experienced education in the outdoors this spring at Camp Lutherwood Oregon. They hiked, swam, climbed, observed, and slept under the stars.
Outdoor school offers middle school students and teachers an opportunity to build closer relationships with one another, while learning about the natural world.
Oak Hill School, River Road/El Camino del Rio, Laurel Elementary School, and Fern Ridge Middle School, and Adams Elementary School packed up their classrooms and came to camp in May and June of 2016.
We love partnering with local educators, organizations, and students in support of outdoor education!
